TELEWORK CONSORTIUM TO HIGHLIGHT TELEWORK
AS VALUABLE BUSINESS CONTINUITY OPTION AT SONICWALL’S
“SECURING THE BUSINESS OF GOVERNMENT” EXECUTIVE BREAKFAST

WHAT: Maintaining Business Continuity in a Crisis

The effects of a disaster on business and federal agency health are far-reaching, from revenue losses to diminished productivity. Increased threats of terrorism, infectious epidemics, disasters like hurricanes and comparatively minor events such as unexpected snowstorms are untimely disruptions that have forced both the public and private-sector to reevaluate business continuity plans.

Dr. William Mularie, CEO of the Telework Consortium, will address how federal agencies can stay up and running, quickly recover and maintain communications during and after a disaster by enabling a remote workforce as part of business continuity planning. He will share best practices and highlight the benefits of telework such as reduced continuity costs, increased agility and minimized disruption.

SonicWALL designs, develops and manufactures comprehensive network security, secure remote access and continuous data protection solutions. This program is the first seminar in their “Securing the Business of Government” breakfast series, intended for individuals in government responsible for disaster preparedness and recovery planning.
