Loudoun Economic Summit
For two consecutive years, the Telework Consortium produced the Loudoun Economic Summit with Amendment One Publishing and Loudoun Magazine. The interactive program, keynoted by Virginia Congressman Frank Wolf, focused on implementing broadband collaboration tools to spur economic development, address continuity of operations issues and enhance work-life balance among private and public sector employees. More than 200 business and government leaders came away understanding telwork’s viability, met with three organizations with successful telework programs and experienced the latest software and hardware in “FutureScape”, a dynamic demonstration. Deemed a success, the Summit has concluded its run.
